The Tartarus features a quadrupole design, dividing the plug's body into four distinct, independently controlled conductive zones. Comparable in size to the best-selling Medium Rocker butt plug, the unique four-zone configuration provides 360-degree stimulation around the anal passage. This wide range of sensations creates an intense illusion of added "fullness" during use, without exceeding the physical limits of less experienced users.

Powered by a dual-output stimulator*, the four sections of the Tartarus can be connected so that the electrode passes from one conductive point to the next in a circular motion. This creates a whole new type of electrical sensation we call “virtual rotation,” where the plug appears to be spinning and rotating while remaining completely still.

Each plug in the Tartarus base corresponds to a section of the plug**, giving you complete freedom to experiment with any desired configuration and the differences in sensations. Using a continuous wave or pulse pattern will result in a pleasurable and powerful sensation and an enhanced sense of "fullness," but we recommend trying an alternating wave or pulse pattern that will trigger the sensation of fullness in different sections of the plug at different times. Quadripolar play requires a 2-channel stimulator, such as Flick Duo, Flux, SensaVox, or AXIS*, and both standard cables to have four plugs connected at once.

Like our Rocker Plugs, the Tartarus features a rounded base for seated play, where the connection connectors are recessed to prevent cable damage. Note that all ElectraStim cables are technically compatible with the Tartarus , but the base was specifically designed with our 90-degree cables in mind (they will stay flush during use).

The configuration of the plugs at the bottom of the plug corresponds to specific sections of the toy (as shown in the diagram below). There's no "right" or "wrong" way to arrange them; in fact, it's highly recommended to experiment with moving them around to create different sensations. Each plug at the bottom corresponds to a specific quadrant of the toy, so you can vary the way you connect the cables as explained below.

Similarly, using a Continuous Wave or Pulse pattern will provide a pleasurable, powerful sensation and an enhanced sense of girth, but we recommend trying an Alternating Wave or Pulse pattern that will engage girth in different areas of the plug at different times.
